Lal’s dream
Monday, June 20th, 2005Lal is famed for her weird and vivid dreams, but this one’s better than most:
Not untypically, it involves an exotic holiday. This time, Lal’s in the Arctic, apparently staying at a grand Victorian mansion of the kind found in that region. The place is packed with holidaymakers, who are taken out in groups of jeeps in the middle of the night to see the herds of polar bears that roam the wilderness. All this is very easy to see since everything is brilliantly illuminated by the aurora borealis. To top it off, the jovial and informative driver of Lal’s jeep is none other than our very own Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown.
